Adam Blotner
Adam Blotner is a singer-songwriter, composer, and music producer whose genre-spanning songs blend pop craftsmanship, musical satire, and theatrical storytelling. Known for his uncanny ability to inhabit the sounds and styles of different musical eras, his character-driven songs are musically authentic, hilariously observant, and beloved by audiences for their wit and melodic craft.
His musical comedy videos and original songs have amassed more than 14 million views online, and his work has been featured in outlets including The Huffington Post, Funny or Die, Adweek, Time Out New York, and BroadwayWorld.
Blotner writes and produces custom music for brands, media campaigns, and digital platforms, including songs for companies such as Google, WK Kellogg Co, Crunch Fitness, Fiverr, Wiz, Land Rover, Fnatic, Papatui, and Cutco, as well as entrepreneur and investor Mark Cuban. He is also the voice of the revived “Snap, Crackle, Pop” jingle and the founder of The Brand Band, a creative studio specializing in original music for media and marketing. He serves as in-house composer and producer for K'ilu Company, creating innovative interactive audio experiences that teach cultural and educational content through storytelling and music, and is the musical force behind the viral TikTok character fatSu.
Blotner wrote the music and lyrics for the musical The Lap Dance Kid, which received an industry presentation at New 42 Studios directed by Rachel Klein. He is also the creator of the musical comedy project Pop Filter and co-creator (with Jenny Pinzari) of the live concert spoof Lollapacoacharoozastock Music Festival.
In the Jewish music world, Blotner has spent decades leading communities in song across Los Angeles and New York. He currently serves as Cantorial Soloist at Congregation Beth Israel in West Hartford and previously served as the longest-running Music Director of Tamid NYC. His original Jewish music is sung in camps and synagogues across the United States.
Blotner has performed at festivals including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, New York International Fringe Festival, LA Comedy Festival, and NYC Comedy Week, as well as venues such as 54 Below and The Comedy Store. He is a company member of A Drinking Game NYC.
Blotner grew up in San Diego and studied Film and Television at Boston University. He later trained in comedy at The Groundlings, Second City, Upright Citizens Brigade, and The Peoples Improv Theater.
